Please help (continued)...
As we mentioned in the introduction to this section, there is a multitude of ways in which you can help Hawaii's cats and the people who take care of them. Donating, whether financially or in kind, is one of them. This page provides information about how you can help through donating, as well as a link to several donation options.

While we can always use monetary gifts, the saying, "One man's trash is another man's treasure" comes to mind: you know, the towels or blankets with the raggy edges that you don't use anymore? the worn out but usable seat cushions you've replaced? the stacks of newspapers you keep meaning to take to the recycling center? those extra cans of tuna or sardines you had to buy to get the good deal at one of those discount clubs?
We could use postage stamps, cleaning supplies (like laundry/dish soap, bleach, hand sanitizer) and litter.
Do you have an animal carrier Fido outgrew? A scratching tree your cat won't use because the furniture and woodwork are s-o-o-o-o much more fun? A kitty condo your white kitty's trying to sell timeshares to while s/he sleeps on your brand new black velour love seat?
Did someone give you a gas card for your birthday for a brand you don't use? A gift card for a store you never go to (where they might have supplies we need, or gifts we could raffle)? Did you sign up for one of those network marketing businesses and find yourself inundated with boxes and boxes of soap?
We would be more than happy to take some of those extra or unwanted items off your hands!
We still need to set up a private phone line for Malama Popoki. For now, please send us a quick email with information about what you would like to donate, your name, and a phone number where you can be reached.
For monetary donations, please see our page offering links to other donation options, including links to several online sites that manage donations for non-profit organizations.
